AI crypto projects combine tokens with services such as computing, model inference, data markets or software agents. Some coordinate independent providers; others are applications that use existing AI tools. An AI label alone says little about the product. The useful questions are what is being supplied, who pays for it, and why a blockchain or token is needed.
A token may pay providers, secure a marketplace, reward useful work or govern a protocol. Those mechanisms create different incentives. Systems that reward output also need a way to judge its quality, and that evaluation can be manipulated or depend on a small group of participants. Real customer demand is different from activity funded by emissions. Review working software, service pricing and independent usage evidence rather than treating partnerships, agent counts or a popular narrative as proof of revenue.
