Cryptocurrency Exchange Reviews
Connect the platform decision to the asset, its network and your practical buying route. Topic links explain the technology; they do not confirm that this platform lists every asset in that category.
Buying crypto and exchange services
Binance
Binance brings spot markets, purchase quotes and funding options into one platform. Its usefulness depends on the route available to you: this review separates the standard trading fee from payment costs, account requirements and the practical steps between finding an asset and withdrawing it.
Bybit
Bybit combines spot trading with a unified account system and other trading products. This review concentrates on buying actual crypto: how Funding and Unified accounts connect, what the spot fee schedule covers, and which regional and security questions matter before opening an account.
MEXC
MEXC is often relevant when researching smaller or newly listed tokens. This review looks beyond the asset catalogue: the live order book, trading and withdrawal availability, regional access and the difference between a low headline fee and an economical purchase.
Gate
Gate, formerly commonly called Gate.io, offers a broad range of crypto markets and products. This review focuses on ordinary spot purchases and the checks that turn a token listing into a usable route: the correct regional service, a functioning market and a supported withdrawal network.
Coinbase
Coinbase offers a simple purchase flow and an Advanced order book. The same asset can have different costs on each route. Here is how to compare the quote, account requirements and withdrawal options before deciding which interface fits your needs.
Bitpanda
Bitpanda’s broker and Fusion offer different ways to acquire crypto. Product selection affects both price and what you can do with the asset afterwards. Compare the quote, the counterparty and withdrawal support before treating the two routes as equivalent.
BYDFi
BYDFi offers spot markets alongside leveraged products. For a buying decision, start with the spot pair, the amount received after fees and the network available for withdrawal. A futures position is a different product from a withdrawable token balance.
Leveraged trading platforms
Margex
Margex is a leveraged crypto trading platform. Evaluate it as a place to manage contract exposure, not as a substitute for buying coins to withdraw into a wallet. The important comparison includes funding, liquidation and regional eligibility.
PrimeXBT
PrimeXBT offers different trading platforms and products under region-dependent arrangements. PXTrader crypto futures and MT5 CFDs should be assessed separately. Neither should be presented as a simple route to buying the underlying coins for self-custody.
Closed exchange archive
MoonXBT
MoonXBT belongs in the historical archive, not a current signup shortlist. Its archived announcement described a shutdown in May 2023. This update replaces the outdated promotional review with the closure record, its limits and links to current exchange research.
How we research reviews
Our updated reviews use official fee schedules, account rules, product documentation and relevant incident records. We distinguish documented facts from our assessment. We have not funded accounts, tested withdrawals or measured support response times for these reviews.
Some links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you register and transact. Offers do not determine our conclusions, and a bonus is not a reason to choose an unsuitable exchange.
